Just a quick note to formally state that I am cutting all ties with National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). I have deleted my account and will no longer be participating in any of their events. There is a lot of info about their latest nonsense on various social media (the NaNoWriMo subreddit is a good place to start), but I don’t want to re-hash the entire thing here. I just felt the need to make a public statement because it’s a disturbing mess and I want nothing to do with it.
People are working on alternatives, I will update if I join a different site.
