July–time for Camp!

As of last night, my first draft of Journey is DONE (YAY!), and I will be editing the manuscript during Camp NaNoWriMo in July. It’s coming together better than I expected, and I am really excited to finish it!

I’m also doing the Index Card A Day challenge, so on my card for July is I edited the “writer” graphic to reflect my intention. 😉

An index card, with a blue background. The text says "Time for: Camp NaNoWriMo 2020. Writer. July". The word "writer" has been covered with a strip of white paper that has the word "editor" on it. The card is decorated with sparkly star stickers.
My ICAD card for July 1.

I have cards for June, and will have cards for July, on my Instagram (@naughtoncc), go check them out!

Camp NaNoWriMo is similar to the annual National Novel Writing Month event held each November, except the goal is more flexible. In November, each participant is challenged to write a novel of 50K words or more. During Camp, anything goes! Screenplays, non-fiction, editing, etc., and you can set your own goal in terms of quantity. And, it’s completely free! All ages can join. If you’re interested in trying it out, check out their website.
